Sound for Twenty20 Cricket at the Sussex County ground

Twenty20 cricket is a livelier version of the sport with each game being completed in about two and half hours. For their home matches the Sussex County Cricket Club wanted to add even more excitement. Theme tunes are played at key points in the match, such as when a player hits a six, and sure enough the 7000 capacity crowd sings along.

To get the best effect the Club wanted a heavy duty sound system with powerful bass. Bluebird Sound Professionals were hired to provide the sound reinforcement needed. Bluebird used exclusively Traction Sound loudspeakers for the 2009 season. The soundsystem consisted of Zeus Mk4 cabinets, Koala 12m cabinets and Piglet 212 cabinets.
